All Huddle Leaders, Coaches and other Volunteers over the age of 18 will be asked to submit to a mandatory background check. The cost of this background check is covered fully by Cross Training Sports Camp.
A Huddle Leader is a college student looking for a rewarding and challenging summer ministry opportunity or a High School student looking to work at camps (campers ages 8-12). They work directly with a small group of campers. The Huddle Coordinator, Nate Thurlow, selects these leaders for the Camp. Each Huddle Leader is carefully handpicked, through careful screening, which includes an in-depth application process which includes references.
This is a great opportunity to serve as a mentor to 3rd thru 8th graders; pump up your college application; get outside and play some games; lead kids in learning about God and His great love; get a cool t-shirt, and make new friends.
BTW, everyone who serves for the four days gets $200 in scholarship money for the FCA High-School Camp held at University of Northern Colorado in July.
This June will be our 11th year in bringing first-class sports instruction and God-honoring Truth to kids in the Northern Colorado area. One of the most important features to achieving this mission is the participation and expertise of coaches. There is great value in sports, especially in molding and developing character.
As a head or assistant coach, you help kids learn a lifetime love of God and sports. Perhaps you are a coach who gets excited by bringing excellence, expertise, energy and excitement in any of our eight sports. Maybe you want to have a ton of fun and love to teach kids to take their sport to another level. If that's you, please join us this June.

After ten years, we know that an essential person at CTSC is the volunteer. As an all-volunteer ministry, CTSC depends upon God to provide servants who feel called to help. There is no way that a small leadership team can keep 300+ kids engaged and organized without adults who serve on a myriad of teams: Set-Up or Tear-Down Crew ; Daily Check-In; Security Team; Opening Night Hospitality Team; Closing Night Hospitality Team; Pre-Camp Administrative/Clerical/Office Help; Trash Pick-up Patrol.
